Main characteristics of TQ1 tool steel
- Superior thermal fatigue resistance – minimizes heat cracking
- High hot strength – stable hardness at high temps
- Excellent impact toughness – resists shock load cracking
- Good hardenability – uniform cross-section hardness
TQ1 tool steel applications
TQ1 steel For Die casing
TQ1 boasts great thermal fatigue resistance and steady hot hardness, suppressing heat cracks under repeated high-temperature cycles for long-lasting casting dies.
TQ1 steel For Hot forming
Balanced toughness and thermal stability enable TQ1 to endure drastic temperature shifts, maintaining precise dimensions during mass hot forming production.
TQ1 steel for Die foreging
High impact toughness and uniform hardness make TQ1 stand up to heavy striking loads, reducing premature damage on hot forging tooling.
